Boxycharm is a monthly subscription box that delivers 5 FULL SIZE items per month. The boxes consist of mostly full size cosmetic items. I have received non-cosmetic items that were nice to try, as well such as; makeup brushes, shampoo, conditioner, and sheet masks…. but again, it is mostly makeup. My experience with Boxycharm has been a very pleasant experience. In my opinion it has been a very affordable way for me to build up my makeup collection with some very high quality products for a very low price. I have also received some high quality makeup brushes and built up my stash on those as well. I will show you the breakdown of everything I got this month for only $21. In all honesty, makeup does get old and has to be replaced, so I don’t feel that I will ever have too much makeup with this subscription. I love being able to try these items and if I don’t like it I don’t think it’s a big deal because of the huge discount I received it for. Even though I may not always love every item in my box, I always LOVE this subscription. For me, it has been the best way to sample makeup. The first item is the Cover FX Shimmer Veil. This item alone retails for $28. This is a shimmering creme eyeshadow that claims to be crease proof. I think the color is very pretty and I look forward to testing it out. Stay tuned for a full review on this product. For more on this product click here.
Crown Pro Trio Brush Set retails for $29.99. The information card says the small brush can be used to conceal and highlight under the eyes. The medium size brush is for sculpting the cheekbones or periminter of the face. The large brush is a powder brush. I don’t like buying brushes, but I love to get them in subscription boxes. They could never send me enough brushes to try! For more on this brush set click here.
Naked Cosmetics Holographic Highlighter Palette retails for $39.99. I look forward to trying these out and if it’s not for me, I know somebody who has their eyes on it already. I will do a full review on this one as well. For more information on this palette click here.
Vintage Cosmetics Smokey Eye Pencil is said to be a creamy soft formula that glides on without tugging or pulling. This Pencil retails for $21. I am very picky with eyeliners so I look forward to putting this to the test.
And last is the Bellapierre Cosmetics cosmic glitter that retails for $15. This is a loose body glitter. To be honest, I won’t even try this product but I will pass it on to somebody that may like it.
Overall: I am happy with this box and look forward to trying some of these products out. I think it is a great value. Again I paid $21 for about $135 worth of product. I love the full size samples because if you love a product a full size is great. Even if you test it and don’t like it, it is always easy to find somebody who could use it.
