This is my first impression of the Milani Everyday Eyes Eyeshadow Collection. I have the Plum Basics and Natural. I wanted to do my first impression on the two together because the difference in the two was shocking.
The Natural Palette is very pretty. The shadows were soft and swatched beautifully. These shadows are extremely pigmented. As you can see in the picture, the black shadow swatched kind of patchy. It also felt dry and chalky. I look forward to seeing how they apply with a brush on the eyes.
The Plum Basics Palette has a gorgeous shade selection. These shadows felt dry and chalky and did not swatch well. The glittery shadow is dry and chunky and glitter was everywhere just from a swatch. I did not have a good first impression with this palette. I wanted to love this one, but so far, unimpressed. I look forward to seeing how they apply on the eyes.
Have you tried these palettes by Milani? Which ones did you like or dislike?

I absolutely hate their foiled(?) shadows, but if it weren’t for the fact that I already own a bajillion warm neutral palettes, I would consider swiping the first one you swatched. Bummed to see the purple tones didn’t work out though, I love the color scheme!

I totally agree on the purple, beautiful color scheme… maybe it will work out with a brush on the eyes? We shall see.
